Rebates

I know you might be a little confused how I am buying more than $50 worth of items some weeks, but saying that I was still in my budget.  Well, I use rebates to supplement my budget.

I know what your thinking- rebates are so not worth the time.  You buy something for $10, and then you have to fill out all this paper, and use a stamp and envelope to get back $.50.  BIG WASTE OF TIME, right?

Well, you are partially right.  Some rebates are a big waste of time, but others are great ways to get back a few dollars on things you were already going to buy anyway.  And rebates are even better when you get something for free and STILL get to send off for the cost of the item (before your sales/coupons) in the form of a rebate.

I'll be back later to tell you more about rebates and some great ones to look out for.  I also will be keeping track of the rebates I get in over here, so check back frequently.
